2026 Board Nominees

We're pleased to share the names of the residents who have agreed to stand for election to the Board of Directors at our Annual Meeting on September 17. Three seats are open this year, and we're grateful to have six neighbors willing to serve.

2026 Nominees:

Don Adair — 622 Old Country Road
Clinton Franklin — 704 Carriage Way
Alba Galvan — 608 Old Country Road
Juanita Lesmes — 807 Middle Run
Deena Williams — 1310 Crosspointe Street

(There is one additional candidate who put their name forward prior to the Aug 3 deadline, but we are still assessing eligibility before announcing the candidate's name)

Each nominee will have the opportunity to share a short introduction of themselves during our in-person Board meeting at the clubhouse on Aug 25. Ballots will follow by mail closer to the meeting date.

Our thanks to the Nominating Committee (Chair Christine Harlan, Carol King, and Demetrius Ethley) and to Board Liaison Evelyn Slough for their work putting this slate together.

Next Members' Meeting

The next Board meeting will take place in the clubhouse at 7:30 on Tuesday, August 25. All members are encouraged to attend.

Pool Status

The pool is OPEN as of Saturday, June 13, 2026. Feel free to use your 2025 pool pass until you receive your 2026 pool pass.

The Greene is located just 20 minutes south of downtown Dallas in Duncanville, Texas. Near Interstate 20 and Loop 12, the neighborhood is just minutes away from shopping, two-year and four-year universities, public and charter schools, and both airports. It is one of the only neighborhoods in Duncanville that is conveniently located across the street from a DART bus stop. The Greene is in a perfect location to live. You can be close to work, school or entertainment.

The Amenities

The Greene has wonderful amenities for use by its residents. More than two miles of trails are available for walking and jogging. Two lighted tennis courts allow for day or evening play. The playground equipment is suitable for both toddlers and young children. The swimming pool includes both a shallow area and a deep end. The community house is equipped with tables, chairs, kitchen, restrooms, and outdoor furniture perfect for gatherings.
